Larnach Castle

Such a cool experience! We stayed a night in the lodges, had dinner in the castle and breakfast in the stables. Beautiful grounds to walk around and the tour of the castle itself is amazing. Highly recommend visiting and spending a night or two

Enjoyable self guided tour. One of those places that surprise you. The family history is one that would be a great period drama movie. Worth the hype if interested in history of NZ. Tower view spectacular.

Stayed in the stables overnight. Warm cosy but simple room. Extremely thin walls so a noisy night. Enjoyed the experience though and breakfast was delicious! Staff were very friendly and both the grounds and the castle were amazing!! Each room containing more features than the last. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the accommodation for 2 nights and had dinner in the music room.. fantastic experience.. great friendly staff. Throughly recommended.

Great place to spend time relaxing with family. Interesting history, beautiful scenery and scones around the fireplace..yummy.
