Story

WeblinksUmweltinformationsseite zum See (englisch)

Peaceful lake, and a few parking spots to enjoy the view. The lake is shallow and major issue with algae, so cannot swim or take dogs in the water. Unfortunately no proper walking tracks around lake.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful love it
A large lake but with few opportunities to get to the shore. The eastern shore has the best places but they are few in number. The eastern shore also offers the best lake views. Some views from Tahuna Road just east of Te Kauwhata as well. It's a shallow lake so waves disturb lakebed sediment making the water brown.
Bro it's peaceful lovely and good place to pack up with few beers
Probably don't swim there
Looks ok with the tide in, but not the best scenery
