It’s a quiet and silent beauty of nature.
Very nice lakeside track, fishing spots all the way. Saw some nice brown trouts but wouldn’t bite.
Great park over for NZMCA members. Also picnic area and public toilets further downthe road. Good parking right throughout the park.
Stunning colour in the evening, love the rock towers on the foreshore. Worth visiting the dark night sky observatory.
