A goodo fun local attraction whether you can play golf or not. They even have an option for kids to 'shoot' at the island to be included still.nWhile we were there someone landed a balll on the island and the energy was electric!
We had a very upsetting experience here.nnMy partner and I walked down the nearby track to the small beach by the lake. There were also a couple of families with young children there. While we were taking photos, my partner was struck in the arm by a stray golf ball from the Hole in One Challenge. The impact caused immediate and severe pain.nnBefore going onto the beach, we looked around and did not see any warning signs advising that the area was within range of stray golf balls or that there was a risk of being hit. Had we known there was any danger, we would never have gone there!nnWe reported the incident to the staff immediately. Unfortunately, they did not appear willing to discuss what had happened or address our concerns. We did not feel that our safety concerns were being taken seriously, so we eventually left. I sincerely hope they have since installed clear warning signs at the entrance to the track and around the beach.nnMy partner was wearing three layers of clothing, which probably helped reduce the impact. Even so, she was in pain for several days and the bruising has still not fully healed. We were fortunate that the ball only hit my partner’s arm. If it had hit someone’s head, or if it had struck one of the children on the beach, the consequences could have been devastating.nnWhat made this experience even more disappointing was the contrast with another attraction we visited during the same trip. At another location, I simply slipped slightly without even falling over, and staff immediately placed a non-slip mat over the area and put up a warning sign. That proactive response to a potential safety risk made a strong impression on us.nnThis attraction may be fun, but public safety should always come first. Please ensure that nearby public areas are clearly marked with appropriate warnings so that no one else has to experience what we did.
$10 for 5 balls.nNot as easy at it looks. But a 15yr old won the $10k a fortnight ago. Go figure. Lol.nIt was a bit of fun and time waster as we walked to lake cruise.
Really good fun. Been twice and the recent upgrade is great. Coffee and food are all good, staff are nice and friendly, can't complain!
Lots of fun and l hit the floating Green quite a few times lol
