Beautiful natural scenery. However, it's a tourist trap. Everyone goes to see the geyser that doesn't erupt naturally but requires soap be put in it and the park is packed in the morning. By lunch it was much less crowded. It claims handicap accessibility though there are steep curved walkways and very uneven ground and many stairs to access the full facility. As an ambulatory chair user, I was in a lot of pain and miserable by the time we left.
I ventured with curiosity about this naturally occurring geyser. Although stimulated artificially with soap, the sight was stunning. It shows the various elements and power of mother nature.nnDefinitely worth watching, show at 10:15 am

Watching the water spout from the earth was awe-inspiring and unforgettable. The surrounding area is beautiful, with bubbling hot springs and unique geothermal features. The staff provides interesting insights into the geyser’s history and the science behind the eruptions. Don't miss this natural wonder!
Really nice walk around, get to the office first and early to get your tickets for the Geyser show, drive back up and park walk across the road and it’s like 50m in from the road. They stoke the Geyser up with soap then it reacts chick sang a cool song during the show well worth it.
Lady Knox Geyser is a prominent geothermal feature located in the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland on New Zealand's North Island. Named after Lady Constance Knox, the daughter of the 15th Governor of New Zealand, it is one of the park's major attractions. The geyser erupts daily at 10:15 AM, reaching heights of up to 20 meters 65 feet.nnThe eruptions are triggered by adding a surfactant soap to the geyser's vent, which reduces the surface tension of the water and allows it to boil over rapidly. This practice began in the early 20th century when prisoners discovered that soap could cause the geyser to erupt.nnThe Lady Knox Geyser is set in a scenic area with other geothermal features, including colorful hot springs, boiling mud pools, and steaming fumaroles. Visitors can witness the geyser's eruption, explore the geothermal park, and learn about the geological activity that shapes this unique landscape.
