Used to be my favourite bakery but not anymore.. Took the Breakfast bap for lunch and i felt something weird in my throat. I thought it could just be the dry egg york.. and turns out it was a handful amount of soil or compost in the sandwich. My throat smells like an animal sht. I can't believe what I just had. I need a refund plus the medical charges.
Indulging in the culinary delights of this French bakery was a sensory journey. The croissants were a revelation—flaky, buttery perfection that made my breakfast perfect. I would highly recommend the original and chocolate flavor. The macarons, a colorful array of delicate sweetness, were nothing short of wonderful. Each bite unveiled layers of nuanced flavors that delighted the palate. However, it was the flat white that stole the show. The espresso's robust punch paired seamlessly with the creamy milk foam, creating a harmonious balance that lingered on the taste buds. The baristas' skill was evident in the strong yet smooth flavor profile. The ambiance, adorned with a charming French touch, added to the overall experience. This bakery is a haven for those seeking an authentic taste of France, leaving patrons with a lingering desire for more.
The worst thing about this bakery is that you can't get enough it's that addictive. Worth waiting in line for and I hate waiting in line. The Apricot Danish are to die for, the pain au chocolat as good as any I've had in France, tres tres bien
I ordered an eclair au chocolat, a choux, and I think the other one was a petit gateaux?nYummy! 5/5nIt is always crowded, but the wait is not long.
Very professional staff - they're always happy to answer questions, smiling, and never an impatient look. Food is amazing, and one of the few places in Auckland that has canele. Their sandwiches are around $6, which is very decent priced.nI had the croque monsieur, and it was flavourful without being heavy.
