During my recent visit to the Air New Zealand Domestic Koru Lounge, I was pleasantly surprised by the tranquility, delectable snacks, and exceptional service. On a Sunday afternoon, the lounge was delightfully quiet, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The lounge's selection of small snacks was impressive. There was a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. From savory bites to sweet treats, the choices were abundant and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the well-curated selection of wine, spirits, and beer, which allowed me to unwind and indulge in a delightful beverage of my choice. The coffee served at the Air New Zealand Domestic Koru Lounge was of excellent quality. As a coffee enthusiast, I appreciated the attention to detail in preparing a flavorful cup of coffee. The baristas were skilled and friendly, ensuring that every cup was crafted to perfection. Whether it was a rich espresso or a creamy latte, the coffee experience was a definite highlight. What truly stood out during my visit was the overall service provided by the lounge staff. From the moment I entered, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and professional, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their commitment to delivering excellent service contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of my lounge experience. The Air New Zealand Domestic Koru Lounge truly offers a haven for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat. The quiet atmosphere, combined with the delectable snacks and beverage choices, creates a pleasant environment to relax and recharge. Whether you are looking to catch up on work, read a book, or simply unwind before your flight, this lounge caters to all your needs. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Air New Zealand Domestic Koru Lounge for its serene ambiance, diverse snack options, quality coffee, and outstanding service. If you have the opportunity to visit this lounge, you can expect a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy a variety of delicious treats, complemented by an impressive selection of beverages. The attentive staff members will ensure that your visit is a memorable one.
Staff great. Facilities good. Drinks are plentiful. Food is OK if you're vegetarian, vegan or a rabbit. Much better/normal food at other regional lounges. Why are you catering to a small portion of the population and not your average Kiwi? Get the Dunedin curry in here. In fact, get all the Dunedin food in here.
The breakfeast food choice at this international lounge is pretty boring. It hasn't changed in years, same scrabbled eggs, hash browns, and sausages. You can get an omelette made for you if you wish. It was also overcrowded to the point of being chaotic, so best to get there early if you want a reasonable seat away from the crowd. They could certainly do with an additional lounge for frequent flyers, as at times it is very difficult to get a seat.
Busy, slow for coffee, soft drink dispenser broken, comfortable enough tho
Great Lounge. Top end shower facilities and bathrooms. Very clean, neat and tidy. Okay food selection but given COVID still reasonable. Excellent separate breakout spaces and plenty of privacy if needed. fast wifi !
A great little lounge perfect to relax work and grab a cup of good coffee. Friendly staff, the buffet is good with lots of options.
Hey this is the lounge to go. Nice environment, plenty of food choices and delicious. Usually not found among Airline lounges. On top of it, people there are friendly and helpful. Adrienne is particularly helpful in helping our check in. A kind, patient, and skillful employee is an asset of the airline. It’s just a coincidence that I visited two air New Zealand lounges in two countries in the past few days and both are excellent. Way to go!
Nice to be here..the area is a little clinical needs warming up visually..also the food has a ethnic feel and club sandwichs taste like a curry..be nice to have good old Kiwi tucker.
The lounge is definitely a comfortable way to wait before your flight however, can be very crowded at times. The showers/bathroom facilities are excellent and clean. Perfect for changing or refreshing before your next flight. Food selection following Covid restrictions is reasonable, and very efficient cafe service when ordering through your Air NZ app. Good wifi, and good they have staff regularly topping up the food and cleaning the tables.
Lounge at capacity/Massive line to get into the lounge? What’s the point of it if you can’t access it?
