A nice cafe to go to for breakfast, but there are better options around. Cafe was minimalistic in terms of decorationing, but not unpleasant, just nothing exciting. The food was nice, and looked great, but the eggs we had for breakfast were slightly overdone, so not overly runny on both the eggs Benedict and the big breakfast. That was the only complaint about the food though, as everything else was great. The service was good, and managed to negotiate around our errant toddlers who seemed to like playing musical chairs while waiting for food.
Our cruise ship brought us to Napier. We went on a Gannet Safari in the morning and found this place for lunch. I had the beef burger and my wife had the loaded fries, both were excellent! I highly recommend this place for a meal or they do have coffee and some other pastries.Food: 5/5
Very good food and coffee ! So yummy ! Sure I will be back and recommend it to my friends. Good customer service too. Big portions and really nice food. Everything are so prefect.
Coffee was great but the machine they have is not setup to handle a large amount of people. The backlog of orders for coffee was about 30 mins, and we were just stopping in for takeaway. Maybe something to keep in mind if you’re passing by and it looks busy inside. The cafe itself is massive and keeps going further into the building, so there are lots of places to sit. On a cold day, the warm inside area was nice. Staff were friendly - no issues there.
Perfect big breakfast for a very reasonable $25. They had been pretty busy but still good service. It was a good gamble just walking in and worth it!Food: 5/5
Had a lovely Blueberry Muffin and beautiful Oat Latte here on Thurs 28th April. Service was good and loved the art by the couches at the end of the cafe.
What a wonderful place! Good sized meal for the price, plenty of outdoor seating with sun umbrellas and soothing music made a Sunday morning breakfast out a delight.
we arrived early before noon. Not crowded. This developed into a good swell of customers by the time we left, inside and out. We had a lovely table tucked into one side of the restaurant area. Faster customers could use the stool by the window and they did
I ordered a burger and coffee and my wife had a scone which she wanted to be slightly warmed. We had to wait a long time before anything arrived and when it did the burger arrived first and the scone a little later. The scone was extremely hot and the burger was lukewarm. Shortly afterward I could feel that the burger was not sitting well with me and had to go back to my hotel for over an hour whilst my body rejected the burger. Sorry guys but not a good look, you need to obviously clean up your kitchen areas.
We stopped in for lunch over Art Deco weekend and found it very nice. I had the Pork Belly Bao Buns which were tasty and my daughter had a bowl of chips which I thought at $10 were a little pricey. Nice decore and friendly staff. Thanks very much!!
