Amazing food, good service, nice environment! Best Indian food in Albany that I've had!
Always delicious food I love this place
I love going to Kohinoor Indian Restaurant. A massive selection of expertly prepared dishes. I am working my way through the menu and everything that I try is “oh my gosh” level of taste. Good size dishes that are amazing value. Run by good hard working honest people. I look forward to going there for lunch every Friday. Highly recommended.
Restaurant is a little older / tired, but meals were tasty & reasonably priced. Staff were reasonably friendly but service was lacking... forgot cutlery & water glass when asked, meals came out at different times, rice wasn't hot or supplied with meals, so some had to wait before they could eat their meal, and garlic naan had a lot of fairly raw garlic on it, breads were not served per person but for the table, so was confusing when we ordered different things, and a drink wasn't correct, asked to get it fixed & was "fixed", but still incorrect. Would try again, to see if this was just a one-off.
One of the best curries in Auckland! We are on holidays and tried this on our first night staying nearby, have gone back 3 times within the week! Would recommend the lamb korma as a favourite!
Best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted! The Kohinoor special butter is delicious. Very good value also. Will definitely go back.
Amazing food, one of the best naan breads i have had. We had the lunch special and it was tasty and abundant. I totally recommend this place.
I love this place so much. The Lamb Rogan Josh my fave is always tasty, rich and spicy but what stands out is the garlic & cheese naan which is the perfect mix of buttery and fluffy. So many places overcook naan but this is 100% legit. Genuinely love your beautiful work, y'all are the best <3

Had some takeaway lamb biryani and naan brought home which was delicious! Very flavourful and generous with the meat.
