We’re a registered dog rescue charity, and sometimes emergencies happen and we have to assist—tonight was one of them. We urgently needed a few essentials for a litter in terrible condition and rushed to the store.nBut, as usual, cages, boxes, and piles of unpacked stock blocked the aisles, making it impossible to see or reach the shelves. When we asked for help at the counter, we were told to “place a click and collect order and get them tomorrow.” The items were in stock and could have been picked for click and collect, but apparently not for in-store shoppers. No one, including the manager, made any effort to help a desperate customer. On top of the obvious safety hazards—falling items, blocked fire exits—all we needed was a few minutes of help, especially after explaining the urgency. We’re beyond disappointed.nKmart, New Zealand Kmart - Were we seriously expected to climb over all this and dodge falling objects to shop in the store, when your staff flat-out refused to help?
Staff do well to keep shelves & stock tidy & organized. Staff are also friendly & helpful. Remember that changing rooms close after 7pm so if its clothes, know your size if shopping at night.
Smallest Kmart we have been to but surprisingly well stocked.
Great customer service. Lady at the entrance was very friendly & helpful. Store is well stocked, well organized & very tidy when compared to Kmart's in Auckland.
Nice store.. easy to find everything we went in for.. even found a few products we weren't looking for..
