We stayed at Kiwi Cabins for several weeks during wintertime and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Stayed at 2 different cabins and found them to be comfortable, warm and cozy. They have been set up with great attention to detail. The location is wonderful, easy access to shops, cafes and beach. The owner was very helpful and accommodating.
Loved our stay here, our booking was so last minute for my birthday but Rainer made it so quick, easy and friendly accomodating us thank you so much. Excellent location, accomodation immaculately clean, private deck, quiet cabin. With a fully well equipped kitchen. So close to everything in walking distance, shops, beach etc. Highly recommend Orewa Kiwi Cabins to family and friends. Staff Rainer your service is awesome and Orewa Kiwi Cabins is the place to be for a get away.
This is our second stay and we love how clean and comfortable the cabins are -and so quiet. The only fault is the 2 seats in Tui cabin are very hard and uncomfortable to sit in. Such a shame there is no sofa!Rooms: 5/5
Nice accommodation and very helpful and responsive hosts. The location was very convenient. I will stay at Orewa Kiwi Cabins the next time i am in the area.
We had a large group stay, so we had the Pukeko House & Kingfisher cabin. Both rooms had amazing facilities, clean & tidy. Both had nice secluded decks. Nice & close to supermarkets & bars. The beach was only 400m away. A perfect spot & a great price. Definite 5/5 for location & cleanliness & the overall property..Rooms: 5/5
We stayed four nights in the Kiwi Cabin. Great location, in short walking distance of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and of course the beach. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We were two adults in two rooms, but the Kiwi would easily accommodate a small family group. Would definitely use this accommodation again - it was perfect for us as we were visiting family who live in Orewa.
We had a wonderful stay in the Kea. Has a well equipped kitchen & comfy-as bed. Loved the private deck. A shed full of fun things for the kids if you bring them. Such a great spot for any sort of get away. Just a short stroll to the beach, eateries & shops. Rainer and Deborah are lovely, friendly and very helpful, made us feel at home.
I had a friend stay there who was delighted with the cottage. Kitchen facilities were great and the cottage had everything you could want.Rooms: 4/5

Loved the spacious little Fantail cabin, and really appreciated having full kitchen and frige etc, even though it's right next door to New World and there are a million takeaway options in Orewa. Short stroll to the beach and the op shops - what more could you want? Deborah and Rainer are great hosts and very friendly and helpful. Would love to return.
