Posting on behalf of my mother inlaw I'm pretty disappointed in kiwi chippie in Naenae I'm not 1 to complain about there food !!! It's usually on point but today is another story there there chip were absolutely discusting over cooked chips I can handle but the taste of chemicals I can not and being a chef I know that it's not the oil .. like I actually can't get the nasty taste out of my mouth

Really friendly staff with prompt cooking times. Fish was a tad on the small side. Spring rolls were good and came nice and hot, have to be careful not to eat to quick. Corn fritter filling was to much flour and not much corn. Burger not the exciting with premade paddies and simple lettuce and such. Price would be as you expect.

Givin this place many chances but nothing has changed food completely overcooked and burnt. batter super greasy and disgusting and if you ask for it alittle underdone they completely undercook it to the point its cold in the middle honestly cant win. New owners are terrible. Honestly feel sick after eating from this place because of the old dirty oil they hardly ever change.

This place has gone downhill since the new owners, milk shakes are horrible I took one sip through it in the bin I think the milk was left out because it was not cold at all. I was so disappointed then today I ordered chips and a hot dog got home no hot dog chips are cooked in dirty oil way to brown, I went back she had totally forgot the hot dog didn’t even cook it so I asked for my money back was only $7.50 I got to my car she had only given me $5.50 ‍ I went back and complained got my other $2 back. I won’t be coming back here.
