Such a nice park. Its located within 5 mins drive of Hawera CBD.nnWas full of parents, kids and small dog walkers.nnHas a substantial kids play area, full of different types of equipment for them to have fun on, a duck pond, and large stunning garden areas to walk through with plenty of benches to stop and just relax and enjoy the views.nnOnly detraction was the large unused pool area and closed Chinese garden area.
Really nice little park. Amazing playground, and lots of benches for eating at. They're a little dirty though, so if you're planning to have a picnic remember to bring a cloth to wipe down the table. There's also an old lake that currently has no water in it. An old Japanese garden also exists. It's currently not accessible but you can see pretty much all of it over the short walls around the outside
Beautiful grounds. The walking trails are not well signed just something to be mindful of. Popular spot you’ll come across a few others walking but plenty of parking and not over crowded by any means.
This is a beautiful park full of adventures Rose gardens Duck pond to walk ways to children's playgrounds to picnic areas to sing so much more. You can expect a friendly quiet and peaceful environment to amenities. Leisure spent at this location I can recommend to a great family day out.
Park for all age groups, dog walks, ducksin the large pond,flower gardens, a great set up. My family enjoyed lunch break under the trees.
