This is a beautiful park full of adventures Rose gardens Duck pond to walk ways to children's playgrounds to picnic areas to sing so much more. You can expect a friendly quiet and peaceful environment to amenities. Leisure spent at this location I can recommend to a great family day out.
The different playground equipment for babies, toddlers, primary and older children caters for the different ages and interests. Having a swing that works for ably challenged tamariki is wonderful. Then there are the sensory aspects in the playground. Trails that are quieter and with Filtered light means those with different sensory needs can also enjoy the space. The highlight for my grandchildren was the water.. the wheel, the dams the pond. Such laughter and talking .
Didn't really walk around the whole park as I was busy, but the grass was soft to my feet an there were many beautiful trees and flowers and other things. I do notice in New Zealand, you'll see alot of statutes for white pioneers but you'll never see a Maori.nnDefinitely check it out
Cool park. Dog friendly
Stunning gardens and pond. Ducks are just adorable. Must see. Playground is just awesome.
