Today, on my way to Auckland, I went through the drive-thru, and the staff were very friendly and the service was incredibly fast. Since it’s a chain, I wasn’t expecting much in terms of taste, but this was the best chicken I’ve had from KFC in New Zealand. All three of us agreed on this, and if we’d had more time, we would’ve turned around and gone back for a bucket.nThank you to the staff for serving such delicious food, and have a great day! Bye!
Extremely disappointed with KFC Tokoroa. Wouldn’t recommend buying from these guys unless you’re ordering in person. Repeatedly missing items in orders and serving the food messy. ALWAYS check your orders before driving/walking off, they will miss something every time. I don’t remember the last time they got my order right first time. For the amount of money we pay, please do better KFC staff.
Have stopped here many times on road trips but our last visit was disappointing. I would discourage anyone going into the restaurant to sit & eat. There is no customer service at all, staff ignored customers waiting in line in the restaurant & were too busy serving the drive thru. A few customers gave up and walked out the smart ones.nI waited at least 10-15 minutes to be served, then l was told it would be another 10 minutes wait. I requested paper plates & they gave us boxes instead. We had coleslaw & potatoes & gravy dripping all over the place as the boxes leaked. Maybe next time as a courtesy tell your customers you don't have proper plates before they purchase food!
Always fresh hot product, love stopping in here everytime we head north. Always friendly service.
The young maori female staff on 11/11/25 3.30pm shift has awesome customer service and everything was fresh and came out fast really enjoyed our meal I've been to kfc all over nz and this is one of my favorite at the mo
