Shocked at what was given tonight. Not usually one to complain literally lost count of how many times we’ve come in and received poor food from here in the past however thought they had improved in the last months, obviously not Came in at 8pm, after waiting for 15 mins just to place our order we were told they couldn’t do 2 super star boxes as they only had 1 chicken thigh left. Asked if they could replace the chicken with anything else but was told no so only ordered 1 box. Got to the window and they said they also had no bread rolls and could sub it for a gravy. Got home to… this. Won’t be coming back if this is the standard KFC Te Puke is okay serving to paying customers.
It's a weird one for me, to eat at a fast food place, but I promised my son if he came adventuring, he could chose the lunch. I won't do that again! Problems: The fries were so salty, we had to wipe the salt off with a serviette. The only drinks were Coke products, and still water. The box of popcorn chicken was very tiny. We dined in, but still had all the takeaway packaging. The doorbell hurts your ears. Not the worst experience, but fat fun the best, even by fast food standards.
Lovely staff on today they got my order and welcomed me with open arms. Very kind and very quick would recommend. Small restaurant but very cosy.
Absolutely the worst KFC I've had. Ordered the 5 piece with chips and all of it was inedible. The chips were dry, old and cold. The KFC must've been the stock not sold from 2 days ago. It was really disgusting and has officially put me off KFC, so maybe that's a good thing.
Appalling Food & Shockingly UnprofessionalnAvoid at All Costs!nnFood Quality: A Culinary LetdownnOrdered the 3-Piece Quarter Pack and instantly regretted it. The chicken was a dry, rubbery disaster zero flavor, coated in a batter that tasted like flour-and-water paste. The chips? Unseasoned woodchips: 40% burnt to a crisp tiny, inedible shards, the rest swimming in grease. The dinner roll was stale and squashed, as if retrieved from yesterday’s trash. Only the potato and gravy were barely passable, but that’s no consolation.nnHygiene & Service: A Health HazardnMid-service, staff mopped the floor WITH THE SAME GLOVES they used to pack food cross-contamination risk on full display. When I raised concerns about hygiene and the inedible meal, the manager’s response? “KFC isn’t your thing; try other food.” No apology. No accountability. Just dismissive arrogance.nnFinal Verdict:nThis isn’t just a bad meal it’s a total disregard for quality, hygiene, and customer dignity. The manager’s insulting attitude sealed the deal. Never again.nnTo KFC Corporate: Shut this location down until staff are retrained and standards are enforced. To fellow customers: Avoid this KFC at all costs unless you enjoy food poisoning and disrespect.n#HealthHazard #NeverAgain #WorstKFCExperiencenPhotos attached as proof.
