Just got home from picking up our KFC dinner from Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland and the hamburger had no sauce pic attached and was dry as cupboard. Might as well mention the chips were salt less and the chicken must have been cooked for lunch as it was terrible. At least your consistent as its not the first time we've received terrible meals from this store.
Not finger licking good... it's nauseating! The positive review... the restaurant building is quite stylish. When we came in, the staff is cleaning up the tables and clearing mess by other patrons which was a huge plus. When we sat on our tables, it's clean. The toilet is fairly well kept, another plus for the management. The negative review... it's for the management to consider. When I order my food, I felt that I was rush to make my order even though I was the only customer in line. The staff handling the counter was impatient and the restaurant was almost empty. I really wonder what is the rush? After I got my order, my bread was crush and the fries were soft. The soft roll bread was crush because the staff did not use proper cutlery to take out the bread from the plastic bag, rather she tore it with her hand. Even though she did it without touching our bread... it's deformed... if this is how the management has trained her to use this method in serving the customers, the management should seriously consider changes. The chicken though is smaller than usual, when we got it, it was not hot and it seems to have seated in counter for quite a while. It is greasy and the skin no longer is crunchy, and indeed I need to lick the oil off my fingers... not finger licking good... it's nauseating!
This generation don't focus on health and hygiene. Tables left unclean, not wipes down, rubbish on tables etc. Literally takes a few minutes to clean which would leave a good impression. This is throughout Auckland not just this business. Most KFCs hygiene and cleanliness is below parFood: 3/5
If there was an option for 0 or negative stars, I would choose that instead of 1. We made an online order prior and even arrived 5 minutes later than the selected pick up time, but we still had to wait in the store. We asked the workers for our order but they said they would start preparing it, another 10 minutes pass and we have nothing. We ask again and she says she's busy and will get to it later. It was 30 minutes after my pick up time when I received my order. During this time, we saw multiple walk in customers order and receive their order before me, clearly they were prioritised even though I had sent in my order 1 hour prior to my pick up time.
Have ordered delivery twice from here and not got my order either time. This time an entire burger was missing, the main part of the order, and they told me to 'come in and collect it from that particular store on another day'. Because that's generally what people ordering dinner online would like to do?! To be clear, this a problem with KFC policy and how KFC treats delivery customers. I don't fault individual workers for occasionally forgetting things.
10 o clock on a Sunday when they close the drive thru at 12pm. No burgers, no popcorn chicken, no sliders, NO CLUE. Jesus. How disappointing. KFC Balmoral this is getting ridiculous. Do something about it!!!! It's not the first evening we've had this happen to us either
I come here often and it's just another KFC, but sometimes, the staff are actually quite nice. Sometimes not at all. But those few are enough for me to leave happy ‍
Chips are always under cooked and often salt is completely forgot even if you ask for salt specifically. Visit fairly often as we’re local and almost always left disappointed
Went to KFC for a treat. Start of the week, assistant staff or manager was polite and took order of $15.00 lunch meals x2 and a snack burger. Eat in, staff mixed orders on the screen and nearly missed our order however manager picked up and corrected his staff. Chips sitting in chip tray warm, mixed with fresh ones you don't realise until you take a bite. Chicken warm holding time? maybe lapsing expiry time but is it ? or given to customers mixed with fresh Product?. If this particular branch is under refurbishment great if not the stores toilets, floors, steps were dirty did not look like it was cleaned. This is not the norm as generally it is better what a shame standards are not up to mark. Air conditioning on quite cold dining in. People come for the value and of course it's KFC but today's visit was disappointing all round with exception the manager was sociable to the point of giving the receipt and explaining if you ring the number and comment then next visit you will receive free chips and drink. Great PR however the review would be poor you would want to get a good response wouldn't you think, enjoy your workplace and enjoy your standards are consistent.
Must be one the worst fast food restaurants in Auckland. Always out of nearly everything, takes far longer than you expect, closing and opening and inconsistent times, and below par service and food.
