The word in this community I'd just returned to was that this is a really good hospital.nJust had a hip reconstruction, covid Omicron & all, and it sure was great!nI have had a lifetime of accidents, in out of hospitals in NZ & elsewhere.nExperienced consumer, you might saynIt was like staying in a resort.nThe nursing staff were perfect, the food absolutely excellent, & all the staff, everybody, was warm, friendly...... nothing was too much trouble.nBest place to be if you're a bit crook.nNice building, not too old, not too new, great central location.nnHope these comments reflect my appreciation. Very grateful to everyone, especially in these trying times
I am Palak and I recently had a surgery at the Kensington hospital with an overnight stay during my recovery. I had such a wonderful experience and the environment there was great, the staff was very helpful and polite and overall everyone was super nice friendly. It has a highly qualified team and the staff goes beyond length to take our needs under consideration. I am very thankful to Dr. Shetti as he did not leave any doubts and explained me what needs to be done throughout my stay there. He is super kind and listened to me patiently and answered all my questions. Overall the whole department is well managed and things were done smoothly and I had a fabulous experience there.nThank you to the entire team!
Kensington Hospital is truly an outstanding medical facility. I had a bilateral knee replacement. From pre-reception to discharge the care was professional, genuinely caring and personalized. The nurses were fabulous. If you have to have surgery and you have a choice I cannot recommend this hospital highly enough.

I am Jeff DÁth and have just had a minor operation with an overnight stay during recovery. I found the staff, from initial reception, operating theatre , ward, nurses, meals to be the friendliest, most caring and courteous in any public health situation I have ever been involved with.. My visit was an fabulous experience and I would happily have stayed in their care for days.
