Founded in 2016, kenko is the destination for simple, healthy and yet affordable meals. Fresh whole ingredients are delivered to our shop which are then prepared and cooked. We pride ourselves in cooking from scratch and we’re aiming to change the fast food industry in New Zealand starting with Dunedin.

Incredible food, fresh fast and hot. Staff were friendly and kind, the seating area is smaller but fits perfectly for what kenko is! You won't be dissapointed.
Cute family owned business that focuses on serving asian-style rice + salad bowls that are always cooked fresh. Spicy pork belly and bao buns are my pick!
Reliable and consistently delicious food. Teriyaki tofu and teriyaki chicken boxes are really good. Karaage chicken also good as is the veg tempura.
Spicy pork belly on bed of fresh salad and multi grain rice. They were so nice and spicy, I definitely go back for more sometime soon

I'm vegetarian and tried the vege tempura, woth rice and salad was really good. Definitely going back when in town again.
Had the chicken katsu box here, chicken itself tasted great but otherwise the whole meal was quite bland and dry, even with sauces on. Both salads and rice didn’t look very fresh. Was reasonably priced though and a fairly big portion :
40+ minute wait.
