Story

Here you can learn about any current specials we are having, what we're up to at the clinic and what ever else is happening in our neck of the woods. Our opening hours are from 8.30am-6pm Monday and Thusday, 8.30am-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and we are open from 9am-12pm on a Saturday.



"Kaukapakapa Vets is a mixed animal practice with a cattery on site with private non-communal suites. Cat drop offs and pick ups outside of normal business hours are by appointment."

If I could give you negative stars, I would. Beware of bringing your pets anywhere near this place, they are money hungry, and will perform unnecessary procedures on your pets just to get the bill as high as they can. There is zero empathy for people or your pets. This woman screamed at me on the phone at a very emotional time for me. And her advice is solely based on how she can make things sound worse than they are, just to make you pay more money! Or worse in my case. I reported this woman and her behaviour to the New Zealand Veterans Organisation. In my opinion, she should not be anywhere near other peoples pets! She takes advantage of venerable people. Belittles them and makes them feel like they are bad pet owners. She actually has quite a talent for it, as I was left questioning my own sanity. But after speaking with many many more people in the community, it was clear I was not alone. She should be ashamed of her behaviour, and with so many people having the same experiences, it is clear there is one common denominator.
Rude and antagonistic and blamed me on many occasions for the outcome of my cat's issues. Won't be going back. Overpriced for the experience.
Great vet, absolutely no nonsense and gets things done for you quickly. Lovely nurses and good selection of treats and products too

Owner is rude as shouldn't be a vet. Wouldn't recommend going here at all
I can’t believe what you just did to Kristalle and her cat we will NEVER come to you, shame on you.
I’ve been coming to Marie, Pip, and the team for years and have always been very happy with the quality of care and treatment of all of my animals. Highly recommended.
Very very unpleasant and extremely unprofessional.I highly recommend any other vet in the area .
