Kathy brings to Bayleys the experience and knowledge of over 20 years of farming in the Tararua and Central Hawke’s Bay areas.
Her self-motivated and focused work ethic has seen Kathy progress from sharemilking, to forming a dairy equity partnership, and then moving onto farm ownership of both dairy and drystock farms. Awarded a Bayleys National Rural Scholarship, Bayleys recognition of Kathy’s strengths and talents can give confidence to clients and customers. Having bought and sold properties herself, Kathy understands clients needs, both the excitement and stresses that can be involved and manages this with a calm, caring, authentic and down-to-earth manner.
Kathy has a Massey Diploma in Agriculture (awarded with Distinction and joint top graduate) and is a previous winner of the Hawke’s Bay/Wairarapa Sharemilker of the Year, also receiving the Herd Records and Financial Management awards, and was placed runner-up in the NZ National competition.
Along with having raised two sons, Kathy has had a large involvement in the local community, having previously offered her financial management skills to be Treasurer of various educational organizations and the Takapau Arts Centre. She is currently a Fonterra Shareholders Networker and a member of the Tararua Dairy Womens Network, Hawke’s Bay Orienteering Club, Takapau Arts Centre and Central Hawke’s Bay College PTA.
Kathy’s rural industry experience, knowledge, networks, and her commitment to providing excellent service with confidentiality, integrity and attention to detail, is a great combination together with Bayleys broader resources, reach and contacts.
