In dire need of a refurbishment.nThe supermarkets do provide some great deals occasionally, but the entire experience is dragged down by the horrible building. It feels like a small prison. The guards watching down from the second floor interior railings. The thick poorly painted walls. The empty shops that feel like isolation cells.nnI do not enjoy this place. I hope for change. And hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things.nnAnother, honest review, DOWN!
Both Woolworth and New World are located under same roof. I liked the small gift shop inside the mall.
I would rate it 5 as a place to grab a few things…bumping into friends/neighbours gives it a community feel…but the selection and size for such a big suburb really lets the mall down! Need one good supermarket and some decent local amenities
Easy and convenient, needs a make over
Worst mall I've ever been to, especially for such a large community. Karori deserves better. The parking is awful, the supermarkets are tiny and have below average selection, and aside from the supermarkets there's not a whole lot else going on. Needs to be knocked down and rebuilt in a way that's purpose fit for a suburb this size. The only redeeming quality it has is the friendly staff and business owners, who contribute to a nice community feel.
