A couple of decent shops, but otherwise pretty grotty a lot of empty shops, and two pretty mediocre supermarkets. Good bookshop, chemist, cafe, coin saver, great cafe. The sushi place is pretty damn good.nIt's petty that the owner of Foodstuffs is taking so long to do something with the site.
Worst mall I've ever been to, especially for such a large community. Karori deserves better. The parking is awful, the supermarkets are tiny and have below average selection, and aside from the supermarkets there's not a whole lot else going on. Needs to be knocked down and rebuilt in a way that's purpose fit for a suburb this size. The only redeeming quality it has is the friendly staff and business owners, who contribute to a nice community feel.
Not one of the world's great malls but its functional, although often requires shuffling between bot Countdown & New World to get what you need. The roof leaks in wet weather.
Pleasant place to visit.its handy for new world and Woolworth shoppers,never have to worry if one of the three newspaper suppliers runs out
This mall has seen better days. Now it's just an entrance to the supermarkets
