I like this mall. It gets bad press for being under developed and yup it needs a revamp and some stores are empty. However it's still got enough convenient services to make it worth a visit. There's a bookstore, pharmacy, supermarket, sushi spot, cafes, outdoor gear shop and Honor the best womens second hand designer clothes store. Plus other stores a eateries. I'd love to see it developed further but it's still got some frozen in time charm.
They have Christmas decorations up and Christmas music playing in November. As if this run-down 70s relic wasn't bad enough. Horrendous.
There isn't much in the mall but Muffinbreak was handy, fast and seating was easy. Again, free and plentiful parking is appreciated.
I've lived in Johnsonville for over 15 years, this mall used to be the heart of Johnsonville especially late night Thursday and Fridays.nNow it's a shame to see it's turned into a haunted house. Owners need to sell off the place so it can be knocked down and renovated into a Queensgate. The remaining stores will be closing down and the only business standing will be Countdown as there's not enough customers to bring in income for rent..
Nice coffee and Mister Minute service was quick and accurate. But the mall itself is a disaster. Carpark lumpy empty shops through out. Almost all national chains gave left. Needs knocking down and a new super centre built. Transport hub, entertainment residential commercial and retail.
