Cool experience seeing the big cats up close, you can circle most of the cages and even watch them get fed at certain times. The black leopard looks a bit bored or stressed though all he did was pace around, wasn’t relaxed like the other cats were. Great experience overall
What a great day out for the whole family. Everyone at the park is friendly and knowledgeable. Extremely clean facilities for humans and cats. Cages and cats look so healthy and well cared for which is so pleasing to see. Will definitely be back, perhaps for a dusk tour! W purchased Gold Tickets and got to feed the Black Leopard and a female lion through the cage and it meant we got up closer than others to see how big and beautiful these animals are.
What an amazing day!! We bought the Gold Tickets, which included a guided tour and hand feeding. The tour was fantastic! Zac and Wayne were friendly and knew so much about the big cats, the sanctuary and history of both. We were unsure of what to expect but we found healthy and happy cats in beautiful surroundings, with wonderful and caring staff. I would definitely recommend this sanctuary to others. Thank you to all at the Kamo Sanctuary for a wonderful experience.
It's quite a "small" park, but ita very cool, we got to see some feeding which was amazing. Very friendly staff
Absolutely amazing experience!! Zac and Logan were such great tour guides, it was amazing feeding the lions. All the staff were so friendly and it’s so clear to see the animals are so well loved and cared for Thank you so much Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
No doubt the staffs love and care for the big cats. Not sure why a rock band was playing at the sanctuary during the Labor weekend. Would the big cats enjoy the loud music, "eye of the tiger"?
It’s so good to see this facility open again. Do go visit and support the efforts this organisation makes to get re-established after so many years closed. Beautiful to see the animals again that I used to work with fifteen years ago
What a lovely experience, took the grandkids and getting tour tickets was well worth it. We all learnt something new and actually seeing them being fed was great. Lovely staff, thank youVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
In my opinion it was great to visit but not much happening had seen some reviews which were good I'm glad I made a contribution to the lions but disappointed overall, I do understand that it was a nice day and that they tend to spend a lot of time sleeping even in the wild, but it was worth the visit just to see what was there.
Thanks Janette for the incredible evening we spent at The Big Cats Wildlife Sanctuary. Our group of 16 adults had a great time seeing the big cats up close from dusk and in the night, while you introduced and told us about all the big cats - lions, tigers, cheetah and leopard. With one of our group getting to hand-feed a Lion!! It was a very memorable evening for us all - topped of with a beautiful finger food platter for dinner. I am so pleased you have reopened and wish you all the best in the future. Keep up the great work!!
