Story

Kaiteriteri is a beautiful little seaside town at the top of New Zealand’s South Island which features one of New Zealand’s most beautiful beaches.

With its famous golden sand beach and blue-green water, Kaiteriteri is perfectly situated as both a holiday destination in itself, and as a base camp for forays into the Abel Tasman National Park.

A wonderful cove with lovely cream coloured sand and crystal clear water. A campground right on the beach with plenty of dining and take out options. A great mountain bike park just up the road and boat shuttles into Abel Tasman national park - what more could you want!!
Most amazing place in new Zealand golden sand beach as well best place to camp even post covid February 23 the place is stall quiet busy than last year. Only one thing I would love to be able to access the beach in a wheelchair have a wheelchair tracks thing would be great to be able be independent on the beach.
Campground is organized, very close proximity to the beach. Communal toilets, shower room and kitchen are kept clean. Friendly staff. Fantastic atmosphere!
Stunning beach! Absolutely amazing... But the place has become mainstream with bar, restaurant and fancy hotel rooms etc... Minus one star. Great if you have money to burn for all the touristy things. Miss the simpler less busy camping here from when I was a kid.
Facilities are excellent and clean. Great location opposite the beautiful beach. Large camp but has 4 blocks of facilities. Great to have the store and restaurant right next door.
Great camping ground. Clean well maintained facilities by the beach. Safe and friendly. Reduced rate when you go away for several nights kayaking. Will stay here again.
Grew up having summers here. Place is amazing. Cleanest camp ground you will ever see with the most amazing facilities. Views are beautiful
