We loved kicking off our hike from here. There's a cool little bar with drinks and food too.
An amazing trip with great beaches, an easy route, very organized
Great national park
Awesome scenery
Translated by Google Initially, the park is like many others and New Zealand. But then there are big differences. On the one hand, it has many small and beautiful bays, which also attract many day tourists in sandals - the park is also really crowded. The signage is ok and insufficient in some places. For example, in Anchorage there was no indication that a mountain trail was closed - ergo you had to go back 30 minutes and then take a detour... or in Torrent Bay you had to wad through a river the children practically swim, and this on the regular one Path. Advance notice would be nice... Compared to other parks I would avoid this one…
