I have trouble walking, when I went to the check out with a full trolley. One of countdown works came and offered to put my grocery through the check out, load my bags in the trolley then collected my walking frame and loaded everything into my car. I felt very blessed with the service. May God bless the workers in Countdown Kaiapoi.
The countdown is great. Only thing is the entry and exit to the carpark is really bad. It's a steep angle and if you don't have a 4x4 watch out. Sports cars basically can't get in or out without scrape.

Very friendly and helpful staff especially during lock down. Been shopping there for a year and will carry on. It is a slightly smaller shop but I manage to get mostly everything we need
Good service friendly staff full shelfs.
Fairly big and modern Countdown but relatively poor range of items. I couldn't get the bread, nappies or yoghurt that I buy anywhere else in Rangiora. Nothing exotic so I'm miffed they don't have these particular items. Staff were friendly enough and decent amount of parking space. Won't be back in a hurry though.
As expected clean and tidy
Self checkout options and fast checkout staff made it a quick easy shop
