Went for Sunday lunch no reservation needed just choose a table and order, lovely friendly staff, great food and good value for money, very spaceous diners aren't sitting on top of each other like some of the other establishments. Would definately dine there again.
Haven't had food yet, but the cheese and onion crisps were great... having breakfast! Greeted by Chris, checked in late, freshened up after a long day and ventured over to the Bar where we had a great time in this "Beautiful Pub", the menu looked amazing... Lots of great banter with Chris, confused him a little with our Australian slang and humour.. good fun!! Thanks Chris Such a cute, clean little room as well, so glad we popped in for our last night of driving around this Beautiful Country Love it.... Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options really impressed me!!
The guy who works the bar was so friendly and polite. Service with a smile and happy to recommend drinks! As a party of 9 our table was set waiting for us, the food arrived with no problems and hot. It was all absolutely delicious and don't think anyone left much! Portion sizes were fantastic even on the kids menu! Will definitely come back again with the family when I'm visiting dorchester again. Oh also the armed forces discount was an extra added bonus as there are places that don't tend to accept it so thank you!
Decided to have a late meal here, nice place and staff very friendly. The food was good and quick service. I never give 5 stars as I believe any place can improve. I recommend not sitting near the kitchen as although the chef had a good singing voice, dropping a few f bombs in the lyrics was not very professional
Had the mega mixed grill and the steak was fab. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked I’ve had steaks in fancy places and honestly preferred this. Chicken was not dry either which is great as often grilled chicken can become like chewing a couch cushion. The only criticism is it would be nice to have an in between mixed grill in terms of size as normal is small if you don’t eat the chips etc but mega is too big. Also ordered the lamb shank special which was lovely According to my husband. Service was great all staff very welcoming and friendly.
My husband and I visited last night with my granddaughter for a bar meal. We have been before whilst visiting Weymouth and have really enjoyed every visit for the great range on the menu. There are several vegetarian choices which is a treat and particularly the cheese pie which is very tasty. My granddaughter enjoyed the steak and said it was excellent. We always find the staff very helpful and lovely and friendly. We had a lovely evening. We are staying in Weymouth for 4 weeks and will definitely come again.
Very friendly accommodating staff, reasonable priced food/drink. Great music, good seating areas for either dinning or watching sports. Dog friendly. Really enjoyed our visit.
Lovely pub. A lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Great selection of beers/ lagers/ ciders and lots of sports screens, along with other parts that don't have sports screens. Enjoyed my visit
Great place to come in the evenings and busier at weekends. Not eaten here so can't comment on that. Happy Hour prices on Monday evenings are definitely worth a try though.Service: 4/5
I have not stayed in the hotel, nor have I had any food from the restaurant but I had a pint of ale at the bar. And the beer was OK. So is the place, well lightened and neatly furnished. The staff also was professionally kind. It could have been a good call, and it was until I decided to go to the toilet. Horrendous, overwhelming smell of urine shakes me and almost makes me faint. I expelled my liquids in constrained apnoea - 37 seconds, which also is my new record. That's a huge flaw for a place like that! It's a weekday and out of peak hours. The bar staff, yet professional, did not receive adequate training about time management in absence of the managers. I assume that the managers were absent, else the scenario could get worse
