Joshua’s is an all natural hand crafted New Zealand owned and operated ice cream company.
The brand was founded by Joshua Jones, a young professionally-trained chef when he was only 18 years of age. Joshua was given an ice cream machine for his birthday, and since then has developed a passion for creating and perfecting pure ice cream for New Zealanders to enjoy.
At Joshua’s, the ice cream is crafted in a traditional style that has been around for centuries but with a modern twist. The anglaise custard, which forms the base of the ice cream, is created using a unique recipe that Joshua has been perfecting over the last four years.
Joshua decided to name the product Joshua’s Ice Cream because he wanted the brand and his products to be true to their source. This is part of the personal nature that is very important to Joshua and his ice cream. Joshua is honest and open about the produce, and has vouched for this by putting his name on everything that he creates.
Sourcing products from the New Zealand market is an integral part of the philosophy that makes up the Joshua’s brand. Helping the New Zealand economy is something that Joshua strongly supports and the ice creams and sorbets are a reflection of that.
Joshua embraces all the ingredients that New Zealand has to offer for his products. The use of carefully selected ingredients underpins the quality of his New Zealand made produce. Every flavour contains no artificial preservatives, additives, gums or colourings. His ingredients are chosen for their pure make up and are sourced across New Zealand, all the way from Mangatauwhiri to the Canterbury region.
Joshua’s also incorporates traditional New Zealand flavours and turns them into mouth-watering ice creams. The Passionfruit Pavlova is based around a real kiwi classic, but still has a twist that makes it unique to the Joshua’s brand.
