About
High Quality Early Childhood Education
Story
A strong focus of our programme is the acknowledgement and celebration of the diverse cultures in
our community. We have a strong commitment to respectful practice in our relationships with the
children, parents and whānau.
Families provide 2 pieces of fruit, crackers, spreads and cheese per week which the children share at morning and afternoon tea. A list is placed on the office
window and families can put their names down. Water is available throughout the session. As part of our programme we
regularly bake and cook with the children. Families are welcome to come and
cook with the children also. If your child has allergies or intolerances please let us know. Our
Kindergarten has a healthy food policy and the details of this are in the attached Food and Drink
Procedure.
