Story

Johnsonville Playcentre is tucked into a sunny little valley on Ironside Road.

We are a cooperative of families who believe that we know our children best and are passionate about being involved in their learning.

We cater for child initiated play in mixed age sessions. We are supported in providing quality Early Childhood Education for our children (birth to school age) with free parent education in all aspects of children's learning.

We believe family/whaanau involvement is crucial in children's education. We are a cooperative so we are the management and the educators at our centre. All families take on roles to help run the centre while allowing for and supporting each other in different seasons of life.

Most of all we think childhood learning should be fun and enjoy experiencing the joys of play with our children!
