The Childspace Institute is an educational organisation committed to improving Early Childhood Education provision and practices.

Story

Childspace has five centres in Wellington, catering for children from four months to five years of age.
We offer practical, up-to-date courses and workshops for early childhood professionals that will refuel, inspire and stimulate teachers.
Childspace Early Childhood Institute hosts 2 annual conferences with national and international speakers, practical workshops, creative opportunities and a practitioner focus.

Childspace Early Learning ROCKS! I highly recommend their many resources and training. Conferences and products are stimulating, intriguing and creative. Their Space Magazine is an excellent advocacy tool for high quality early childhood services. Treat yourself to the Childspace experience. It’s a fabulous professional development resource.
I would highly recommend Childspace . I recently ordered some creativity resources. I found it easy to order and receive resources and of great quality... I’m in Australia and it arrived fast and this is how I always find them... I have never had any issues with them at all! Very Friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks Childspace love your work
We have had the pleasure of participating in Professional development with the Childspace team and subsequently ordering resources. Both the workshops and resources have been of high quality and in line with supporting research based best-practice for tamariki. You can really see the passion that these kaiako have. Thanks for inspiring us Childspace!
I’ve been lucky enough to visit the facilities in NZ and partake in many of Toni and Robin’s workshops. Their competence, love and passion for what they do is unbelievable and contagious. Education needs more places like these in which children are not only cared for and nurtured but also taught to grow into capable, caring and reflective people.
I ordered “Daily use of Te Reo Māori in ECE” expecting a book as per the picture in the brochure and on the website to arrive, instead it was a budget A4 printout and I was charged $10 for postage. We were disappointed with the quality and the exorbitant postage. We would have printed something similar for free off the internet rather than paying $30 for it. Childspace have offered a refund, though not of the postage and we have to pay to post it back. Be careful what you order.
Some of the most selfless people I know and have been so blessed to meet and know. Hard working and dedicated to making the best decisions for early learning settings, to provide the best outcomes for children
