Definitely my favourite Indian Restaurant and arguably my favourite restaurant in general. I recommend the banquet to anyone that wants to experience a little bit of everything. For those who are interested in playing it a bit safer the butter chicken and mango chicken are incredible. Can’t wait to my next meal there.

Namaste Jewel of India ! Food was really good. Tomato puree flavor in chicken curry was awesome. not very spicy that's the good part about it. It's good to see that restaurant is not merely showing the picture of Taj Mahal to represent the Indian jewel . Overall the staff was courteous, hospitable and sweet. Punjabi guy had the enthu to make sure the service is good and made sure that I liked it or if something was to be added. Overall on ambience, I do feel there were a lot of tables packed in for seating capacity. Music was old Bollywood instrumental, nice music. All in all a good experience to have th food, fill in and go to enjoy a stroll and sunset on the beach. Cheers jewel of India. And yea, one last thing - there was no WiFi password shared. Which is a let down in today's age.

I ordered Uber eats about 10 days ago. I ordered two vegetarian meals with rice and 3 different breads. The curries were hot in temperature but had absolutely no spice. Both curries were made with exactly the same sauce which was bland and actually disgusting. I could not eat them. I called straight away as I have ordered the same many times and knew how they should taste. I was told I would be fully reimbursed. I have yet not been reimbursed. I would not recommend and will not be ordering form there again.

Service was awesome but the butter chicken was yuck, chicken tasted like it was cooked 2-3 days prior and the sauce tasted nothing like a traditional Indian dish. Will be ordering from here again but maybe a vegetarian dish instead

Worst Biriyani ever? Mushy soggy rice, does not even appear to be Basmati?

This is my favourite local Indian restaurant, for both take away and dine in. The food is yummy, I often customise my dishes and they are always happy to accommodate for it. Staff is friendly and efficent with food served on time.

We got a delivery tonight and... wow! The food was authentic, very tasty, and was still hot when delivered from Mission Bay to CBD.

We had a mixed feelings after visiting this place. Some of the food items were good and some were okay. You can get better Tandoori chicken at lot many places in Auckland but Malai Kofta was just standout. Don't expect any great scenery around while having food. Staff was good but number of staff was quite low.

Excellent food. Authentic potato curry love it. Nice and clean restaurant with good staff.
