Came here for dinner for Mums Birthday with family, food was tasty and the presentations were really nice thankyou for the iced water from the waitress because it was hot inside the restaurant. Atmosphere was cosy and staff were accommodating and helpful
Tried some of their amazing dishes from the menu. The food is A-Maz-ing!! Comes with friendly customer service too. Food came out quickly. Loved it!
Lovely setting and friendly busy vibe. The menu is extensive with lots of choice for fish and vegetarian dishes as well as a great variety of meat dishes. The dishes were so beautifully presented when they came out with generous portions and all very delicious. Look forward to going again soon and bringing the family.Food: 5/5
Went here with my partner from the shore on a recommendation from a friend that this was the best Thai in Auckland. I have to say that it was the most disappointing experience. Yes we got there at 9 but the food was average at best and the service was abysmal. Can’t say that about all the staff but this one staff member who was in such a hurry to get us out of there that she came up to the table asked us to hurry up as she needed to clean up at 10pm and started to clear our plates and even took our water away. We were not even asked if we would like desert. I’m surprised these guys get away with this. If you want a disappointing experience when it come to food and service then please visit this place else there are a myriad of Thai places in Auckland that will leave you very satisfied. Shame on you guys. Will not be going back or recommending these guys. They don’t deserve even 1 star but had to as google won’t let me post this feedback. Two thumbs down. I think they should clear up their act as enthusiastically as the waiting staff wanted to clear our table of they’ll have a lot of time to read these review. Expecting a call back and an apology.
wanted to try the food at Ginger Remuera, so ordered takeaway of a ‘Thai Hot’ Flaming Duck dish, the receipt says ‘Hot’ but was more like a mild spicy sweet Duck stir fry! May be the chef had a bad day or possibly kitchen was very busy. Giving them the benefit of doubt. Portion was limited & satisfactory however price of the dish is above average
Personally we didn’t enjoy the experience. We found the place to be very strange. They attempt to pass as a fine dining Thai restaurant but the food is very standard and plain with the exception of a few flowers decorating the dishes. The space is small and not family friendly. We regularly dine out and have never bothered to “dress up” just for dinner. Unfortunately this worked against us at Ginger. Two tables which were walk ins and came in after us were quickly serviced. Some reason we were sat right down the back and waited ten minutes just to get a menu and another ten for drinks order to be taken. The space looks nice so the food and service being sub-par was very surprising.

One of the nicest Thai restaurants I've been to! Everything is delicious, the decor refined and the staff friendly! Prices were fair too, especially on somewhere that looks rather upmarket. Definitely recommended.
Great family-owned restaurant, ideal for dinner dates and families. Great food, excellent service and fantastic atmosphere. I will be back soon.
Visited here earlier this week and the food was fantastic. It's refreshing having modern twist on Thai food with the standout being the Tacos and Salmon in an amazingly flavoursome sauce. The final highlight was the desert which I am led to believe changes from night to night!
