There are 2 case-loading midwives on the Island - Elisha Bilbee & Linda Hodson
We both live on Waiheke Island and love working within our local community.
We are both happy to look after women who wish to birth at home and Elisha will also deliver at Birthcare and hospital.
We support natural childbirth and also understand that this is not always possible or desirable for our clients.
We cover each other and provide extra support for births when needed- therefore we will attend your birthplan meeting together so that we are all working in the same direction.
When you go into labour, one of us will look after you, depending on who is available.
