Great people, beautiful greens, cheap beer! How good!
Played Lawn Bowls at Island Bay Bowling Club recently and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, Greens in good condition. One always receives a warm, friendly welcome and hosting by Club Members.
Lovely bowling club with nice facilities.nThere are two greens, which are well kept and staff are helpful for new bowlers. The interior has a bar, kitchen and dining / seating area. The bar is well stocked, with tap and bottled beer, wine, spirits and RTD's.nThere are often social bowling events held at the club including Mates in Bowls evenings.
Nice facility. Good greens. Badly positioned smoking area, located in porch between club house and playing greens
Nothing wrong with any place when someone else is paying for the beer.
