Pretty long wait to get a board. The service has been great though and the boat was well kept. Booked the premium lounge which was pretty cool. Very nice way to experience things!
Interislander both locations I have been serviced. Today 01/May/2022 morning it was a bit late than the given timing of final check in which supposed to be 5.30am. But sailing did not get late. They are doing well.
Great ferry ride to picton. Tip of the day: take Premium Lounge access with your top 10 card 40 nzd and enjoy a great lunch, a fine glass of wine and luxury seats. We bought the tickets on the ship but you can do it also online. Beautiful views at the 1pm departure.
Smooth check in. Staff friendly and relaxed. A special day ‘cruising’ from North to South Island with our hire car. Great scenery navigating in to Picton. The weather helped
Very comfortable seating on board alittle nerve racking to drive onto the boat as newer drive but other wise a very good service friendly crew good food and all round just an enjoyable trip
I sailed on the aratere Monday 10th october, the day was sunny, light seas excellent crossing, from the vehicle check in lady to the ships boarding crew, port workers, ship crew, a good size fish and chip meal served on a plate, crispy fish batter, well worth trying, all round friendly staff, good to have younger staff who seem to enjoy their work, just awesome cheers
Great ferry to get from north island to south island or vice versa. Everyone on staff was friendly, the food was decent considering it's a ferry and the bar has a good enough selection to please everyone. There are several outdoor decks where you can catch some amazing views while crossing to the other island
Excellent birdwatching. Well laid out ship. Very poor communications in fact no comms at all when sailing was cancelled. Their management should try letting front line staff know what is going on!!!
Bad experience. We had to wait 50 min to get out of the ferry. I still have no idea why the employees were doing so many efforts to disembark from far behind the ferry, with so many manoeuvres from drivers side, while all the cars in front waiting. Totally inefficient. Would be strongly recommended a training every once and then
