We decided last night at around 8 pm Central to do something spontaneous and drive 4 hours to Valdosta so that we could come to Wild Adventures today Saturday, August 13, 2022. We have talked numerous times in the past about bringing our autistic son over here to see how he would handle a theme park without spending thousands of dollars on a place like the Mouse House just to find out he couldn't take it. Well this weekend, WA had tickets half price and all 3 of us could get in for less than 1 ticket to the Orlando Crown Jewel. So we decided to go for it. Ladies and gentlemen, he absolutely loved it! The beginner and intermediate roller coasters were perfect for him although Boomerang broke his adventurous spirit. He loved the Ferris Wheel and Swinging Safari, but had an absolute blast on Outpost Express and Tasmanian Rapids. It took a bit of coaxing, but I was able to get him back on the Outpost Express before we left, although he was hesitant to do so. This weekend was the food truck weekend and there were several vendors set up serving many different kinds of foods. We tried a couple, but were a bit underwhelmed. Overall we had a fantastic time and proved that our so could handle the crowds and queues at the park without too much of a problem. We are already planning to come back for the Halloween celebration and can't wait to do so!
I’m originally from Florida near bushe gardens and all the parks in Orlando. I find it super cool that a small town area has a theme park that’s pretty decent size for the town population. Although, it is one of the only things for kids to do around here so they get PLENTY of business. Their season passes are priced EXTRAORDINARILY well. Especially compared to theme parks in Orlando. You can’t beat their pass price and all the perks that come along with it! They always have big events for all the holidays. I’m glad my daughter and her friends have somewhere to celebrate and get in the holiday spirit! They make this park affordable for everyone! Decorations 10/10 Rides&activities 9/10 Food&drink selection 9/10 if only you could buy beer more than 2 spots throughout the park I don’t care for the rule that you can’t walk around with your beer like you can at regular theme parks but that may be a state law that they can’t help. Value 10000/10 Fun factor 9.5/10 Staff 8.5/10 Overall 10/10
We had an amazing time today!!! It was hot, but not too hot. We were there for 5 hours and didn't see half the attractions. Splash Island was very fun. Me and 3 year old really enjoyed the lazy river. It definitely is a nice addition to the chaos. I purchased Italian ice and a snowcone that was delicious and worth it in the hot weather. We definitely will be back!!
Great trip. Took my grandkids ages 7,5,4, and 2 1/2. The park was so great that it had free ice water available in several locations along with a site for visitors to go to if they got to hot. The employees was nice enough to tell us the location to go to if we felt like we were getting overheated. Great service, food, and lines were not long. Great rides. See photos. Got to feed the Giraffes too. Very good for any size kids. They have bigger rides too.
We come here a lot. It's a great place to spend the day with or without kids. Sometimes it's even more fun without kids, . My favorite time of year to go is in summer, but Halloween and Christmas are times we go also. However, the Halloween stuff used to be better. It used to be scary at night, but they changed it. Now it's more childish and cute. Anyway, we enjoy it here.
We were able to be apart of a special event where our company rented out the park for 3 hours. The staff were great and helpful and all excited to be there making our hubby that much more special. Most of the rides were open and the lights alone made the night. Wild Adventures is a must see at night during the Christmas time.
3 parks in one you cant beat that! We had an awesome time. The lines was never long to ride any of the rides at either park. We seen animals that we have never seen before at any zoo we've been to. My new favorite bird is the bleeding heart dove. The fact we had fun and learned something new this spot is in our top 5 places to visit. With me being a travel agent this park will be one I recommend to all my clients and friend.
As an older couple, we visited with no children. There was plenty enjoy. My first surprise was how clean and well maintained the park and surrounding area was. Even the restrooms. We visited on Sunday. Memorial day weekend, and felt it would be packed. But there was plenty of room. Rides did not have long lines, and I was able to enjoy my first roller-coaster ride. It was thrilling. We checked out the alligators and a few displays, a lot of interesting things to see, for kids of all ages. We got a shock when we brought lunch, chicken fingers and fries, a big drink to share. We are not soda drinkers, they had limited options to soda, lemonade, pink or yellow. I'm allergic to citrus. So coke was the only choice. The problem came when I got my drink, it came with no lid or straw..that's an accident waiting to happen. I went back inside and was told "no" straws or lids in the whole park. Employees said due to animals choking or something? As I walked out and 5 feet away, a small child ran into me and that ended my 5.00 drink. I did not purchase the drink cups the park sells because I was unaware of the straw and lid policy. I was thirsty and did not find a drinking fountain in the whole place. Since outside cups are not allowed we had to return to our vehicle parked pretty far away to get some tea. They don't sell tea, this is the South and that made me wonder. We enjoyed the water park side after about 3 hours after the rides. And we found so much sunshine and enjoyment. Everyone was having such a good time in the wave pool. We did a few water slides and the lines were much longer on the hot day, it was finally our turn when the slide we waited on for 25 minutes was shut down. We were not told why. Back to the wave pool. We enjoyed our visit, wish they had straws and lids or bought the 10.00 drink bottle, if I had know, it would have stopped me from drinking possible unpottable water from the bathroom. Or taking that long walk back to the car. Overall we enjoyed the visit, and plan to return again. Season tickets were a good deal if you live in the area.
It was a great experience. My ONLY complaint is in the lazy river, there should be someone handing out floating tubes or there needs to be more tunes, or something. I heard a few complaints. Otherwise, all was well as far as attractions. The kids had a blast. The only reason for the missing star is for the simple fact that I'm vegan and gluten-free and there were no food options for me unless I missed something. I know that the gluten-free is a stretch, but some vegan/ vegetarian options would be nice.
It's a fun place. Well maintained. Fair food. Salad was dry. Pizza hot but average. Lines for food or beverage a little long and took time with some menu items sold out.
