Though we live in Pokeno we love to go to Southern spice for take away food. Food is amazing, value for money. But they need to deliver orders quickly. That is the only reason I am giving 3stars.

Ordered the lollipop chicken, was so bad we had to throw it away. Chicken was deep fried so hard you could break a tooth chewing it. Good Briyani.

Stale food. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go in on a Sunday especially. Plates were not clean and  food was horrible the chicken pieces were shreaded when i ordered for tandoori.

I had Chicken Dum Biriyani. It was good. Medium spicy, tasty. Could see decent amount crowd in the Resturant. Seems like it's special for take aways..

Southern spice is one of the best restaurant in Auckland. One of my favourite dish is chicken korma. The flavour of that dish is incredible. Great and fast service. Friendly staff.
