Sushi is always made to order. The big difference from Auckland’s sushi shop to this shop is, here they don’t put too much sauce. The miso soup is like a warm hug, less salty. Perfectly balanced meal. Way better than Auckland. Highly recommend! Very humble staff
I recently visited Inaka Sushi & Japanese Restaurant in Otorohanga and had a good experience overall. The food was delicious, with a wide range of sushi and other Japanese dishes to choose from. The only downside was that the prices were a bit high for what you got, but that's to be expected at a nice restaurant.nnThe staff at Inaka were also very friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. They were happy to answer any questions we had and made sure our experience was top-notch.nnOverall, I would give Inaka Sushi & Japanese Restaurant a 4 out of 5 stars. While the prices were a bit steep, the food and service were both excellent. If you're looking for a nice night out and are a fan of Japanese cuisine, this is a great place to visit
The make the sushi fresh, right when you order it ! I had the salmon and avocado rolls, they were huge and really yummy!
This is my favourite sushi place in Ōtorohanga. The sushi is freshly made, great efficient service and super friendly. I love the fresh salmon bento box
A gem of authentic Japanese cuisine in the main drag of Otorohanga. Forget dried out, pre-prepared sushi. Sushi and bento boxes prepared within three minutes of ordering, so deliciously fresh for takeaway or dine-in. Locals, and anyone passing through, are in for a treat.
