Terrible service and would not recommend to anyone wanting half a decent haircut. The picture speaks for itself. Look at it and decide if you want something equally ugly to be done to your hair. I had a great permanent straightening done and I am very happy about the results after a month. My hair was damaged before the treatment but they were very professional and caring and as a result, I had a great hair straightening after all. It was also the best price I found in central Auckland with no hidden cost. If I knew I d have done it before! Totally recommended!

The first time I went, I got my haircut. Which was really good. I cannot remember who it was by, but he did a really good job. The second time I went for a permanent straightened treatment. That costed me $290, it’s amazing however it leaves or smell on your skull. The smell is really weird, because every time I wash my hair has this weird spell, that doesn’t come off. Overall The service and product is really good. I just didn’t like the after smell of the permanent straightened treatment.

Affordable and good haircuts given. They washed hair and cut it for $35. Entire team is good, you can walk-in but they do appointments too. Store is clean and faculties and products used are great!

WORST HAIR COLOR EXPERIENCE AT ID !!! I got myself a global hair color service done here 10 days ago and the entire color has already come off. Even after taking very good care of my hair and applying color protecting mask as advised, my hair has regained its natural color within just 10 days which was supposedly going to last for a very long time!!! WOULDN’T RECOMMEND AT ALL !!!

Bad experience with this hair salon. When I first called the salon to ask the price for hair treatment. They told me $130, but they ask $200 after the service is finished. I am waiting for 2 hours during the procedure and no one to take care of me. By the way, they didn't accept credit card and force me to pay by cash or transfer. Amazing! I did my first Perm here and it is was an amazing experience. I didn't know what I wanted so let the hairstylist take charge. It's a change to my normal style and I like it.

I was on vacation in Auckland first visit and decided to have my long hair cut short. Min was my hairstylist on the day. He has 9 years experience and it really showed in his technical cutting. Prices are very affordable compared to where I live, in fact almost half the price cheaper and you get a hairstylist who actually cares. He gave me great advice of how to maintain the style which I've never received at other salons in the past and forever changing salons. I'm very glad that I went to ID Hair as it's very hard to get a decent haircut in the country that I live in who is experienced in cutting East Asian Hair and at an affordable price. Friendly staff!

This place is a hidden gem, quite hard to find but all the hairstylists here are very friendly and great at their craft. I always go to my big bro Mr. Min to get a haircut. He pays a lot of attention to the little details. You may think that he is not talkative or unfriendly because he's not talking much, but he's simply just super focused at doing his job!

Had a really good experience here. Got my hair cut, and a wash I didn't expect. Good pricing. Very good service, will be back.
