Bush setting, birds chirping, tui. Nice walk around. The drive to and from the spot is unique
Love this place. We visit New Plymouth one or two times a year and we usually park up here. The dog gets excited when he figures out where we are going, he loves to swim in the stream and walk the track. The bird song is beautiful. The Internet signal was better this time so that was a bonus.
This place is a great place to stay. Easily accessible parking spaces. I’ll definitely be staying here while I’m in the area. Very sheltered and no road noise. Place to stay if you want to relax and be 4 km from city centre. Lots of walking tracks through native bushes from site and towards city centre
Gorgeous wee Park. Very, very boggy in winter. Public can access the area as it adjoins a public walkway. Tennis club next door and the walks are stunning.
Nice, clean and peaceful NZMCA park. Just beware the roadside gate is locked by the council at 8.30pm in the summer
