Great venue to see a movie that we really enjoyed.nWould have given 5 stars if the cinema was warm.nI called earlier in the day to ask what the temperature would be in there and was told 20°c.nWas also told they are having trouble with the heating. Don't believe that sorry. I believe that it is a cost saving avenue for them.nI had to ask for blankets as it was uncomfortably cold.nWas going to bring grandchildren in for a holiday movie but not sure I want to sit in a freezing cold cinema again
Bit annoying having to wait on the pick up counter for popcorn and drinks in hopes to speed up the waiting process movie tickets already broughtnMaybe just understaffed this day? But had to wait 5 minutes as the lady was serving everyone in the ticket line.. next time I will just line up too.nPopcorn was very salty but nice and warm.nSeats and theater tidy !!
Brought my son to see Kung Fu Panda today. The lady who checked our tickets was very welcoming and polite with my son and knelt down to interact with him. Never felt more respected as a mother knowing my 4 year old was treated with such kindness. Very good seats and nice and fresh popcorn. 10/10 Thanks Hoyts Riccarton - will be coming back.
The cinema experience is pretty great. The standard screen is pretty big and audio quality is very good. Foot room is pretty good, as a person whose height is about 196cm, I could almost stretch my legs out all the way. Only thing I'd say is compared to a cinema like silky otter, the seats aren't nearly as comfortable
An average movie theatre. The theatre is not bad. Seats are OK, as is the sound.nVery efficient check-in if you have booked through the app.nThe candy bar is as expensive as you would expect. They need to re-evaluate their choc top supplier.
