Went into this Cafe this morning asked for a coffee to have there, I told the girl twice and sat down. Guy brings over a takeaway coffee. I told him I wanted one to have there in a cup and I said I had told the girl twice. I then decided to take the takeaway coffee and have it in my truck. The guy got angry because I told him to f..n well listen to what I want next time. He came out from behind the counter and physically attacked me. He hit me once and I managed to hit him back. This all happened inside the cafe. Been going here for years, but will never go back. Violent guy cant do what he is getting paid for.

I love the coffee, I love the cabinet food, I love the friendly, helpful, energetic staff. They know exactly what your order will be and will say it even before you do, with a huge smile on their faces. I only had to tell them once that I was a vegetarian, and the next thing I knew, every time I went there, they looked at me and said - 'Shall we make you a mushroom/avo/onion sandwich without butter or mayo? And with a small, extra hot, half shot, one sugar cappuccino?' Now THAT's service. They're also the only cafe that gives a free coffee for every 4 coffees purchased, whether small or large, or a free muffin with any sized coffee. Absolutely no complaints with Hollywood Greenlane!

Service has been most disappointing. Since the departure of the free muffin with my coffee and I am regrettably forced to take my business to the other nearby cafe who makes significantly better coffee and muffins. Not to mention the inability to provide a receipt for a customer I saw in the Japanese section today Kagura. RIP Hollywood Bakery - Ellerslie :'

Nice coffee! Right next to Countdown and had breakfast there. Recommend Big Breakfast. Need some energy before supermarket shopping. Hahahahah

I like their salads, but I don't like that they put food on the counter prior to closing and sell at a lower price. Chicken and other meat dishes should be kept refrigerated.

Their quiche left a rotten egg taste in my mouth >: have never been so unhappy with any food. not worth $5 at all

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Rude staff, appalling service, pretty poor food. Lot's of options around, so I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A RASH!!!

Would have been 1/2 a star if I could do it. This place just overcharged me, and wouldn't give me a receipt. They argue in front of customers and are really rude. Never again!
