Hollywood Bakery Espresso

A surprising gem. Doesn’t shout alternative luxe look at me. A quiet achiever with great staff and service, good range of bakery goods and MASSIVE bowls of coffee! A quiet achiever I recommend. NB for vegans the lovely staff person made me a tasty avocado grilled sandwich.

Brought a steak and cheese pie and medium mocha - quite nice, coffee was strong and drinkable - price was alittle high but everything seems to be these days. Think the plates for dine in have been through alot - not dirty just worn out they also have takeaway bags Service was okay. Location must be difficult with all the road works happening on Albert Street but wasn't to bad to dine in on a Sunday morning. I personally would grab a sandwich/coffee/hot item on the way to work as they are quite fast with coffees/service.

If you are looking for a nice clean breakfast cafe, this is probably your best bet in Auckland. This place had a friendly vibe with an illusion of quite and cosy. this mom and pop place was very relaxing in a busy city. All day breakfast and my Mr. who btw is very picky about his coffee finished his cappuccino. All round a nice place for breakfast.

Tasty pies. However the beef, cheese and bacon and the beef and cheese pie had no cheese or bacon in them. Good location and comfortable seating insideFood: 4/5

Always come for lunch lovely owners always friendly and have Quality food on offer their other cafe ponsonby road also i recommend

Great value! Hubby and I had a bacon and cheese toasted sandwich and a hash brown each and it was yummy! The staff were very attentive and had great service. We will definitely be back.

The owners of this Hollywood bakery everytime when I go there, their attitude always rude! Always stared at me and no "Thank you" at checkout whatsoever! Not friendly at all! I will just go to other "better service" pie shop than this one in the future! Won't be coming back here! Not recommended at all!!
