The service was enjoyable, the coffees are great. It feels like in the big breakfast the potatoes were from a previous night roast and didn't seem very refreshingits something people do when they have leftover carb and serve it for next days breakfast with eggs, perhaps would be better if we're swapped with a pair of hashbrowns, most people want to have the freshest breakfast when they start their day so in a place like this you have the chance to Inspire them with the fresh feel when you serve the breaky.
A cafe that ticks all the boxes. Great quality and service that doesn’t cost the earth! Service here is warm and friendly, being critical they could be a little more attentive maybe on the second drink opportunity, or maybe I just drink too much coffee. Had a long black, great taste and made great by the barista. The potato rostie Eggs Benedict + Bacon was delicious, just the right amount of everything. Plenty of seating inside and extending outside on a nice day Will definitely be back for a second helping at this gem of a cafe!
This cafe is so beautiful and nice, me and my family and my friends have become regulars here, I really enjoy the coffees here and the food is amazing and the pricing is fair . The location is also very convenient.Recommended dishesDecorative Cakes, Egg Croissant, Eggs Benedict w Bacon, Full Breakfast, Chilli Scrambled Eggs, Avocado Smash
Enthusiastic waiters bring sunshine to the restaurant. The food presentation is very thoughtful, and the color matching makes people happy. Pull in a list that is worth visiting frequently.
Making the food all flowery and nice looking so the local yuppies can take pictures of it for their IG stories is all well and good but if your breakfast chef can't poach eggs that's mud as. You could have mocked my mum and I wouldn't have been as sad as I was eating my hard boiled eggsFood: 2/5
Great service and friendly staff. This cafe is my everyday visit, best coffee in town! They offer a wide range of delectable dishes, from hearty breakfast options to mouthwatering sandwiches and salads for lunch. The ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is impeccable. Their signature dishes are a must-try. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re meeting friends, working remotely, or having a kids play date, this café is a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids corner at the back of the cafe with a wide range of toys offered.
Delicious brunch had here with my kids. The atmosphere is really funky, super fun and artsy decor. The food and drinks were all great. Beautifully presented, wonderful flavours, and impressed all of us. My youngest is quite fussy but she loved her breakfast. Mine was soo good!
Beautiful decorations, decent coffee and very nice food. The first thing I noticed was that the cafe was buzzing with activity. With 90% of the tables being larger than most establishments, Hello Friends + Allies is perfect for groups. It’s not overly styled but is balanced between floral accents and industrial lines. Menu items: Potato Rosti Eggs Benedict $18.50 - Add Bacon $5 - Add Salmon $5.50 Such a good choice. The rosti was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - definitely in my personal top 5. Extra points for being able to see what it looked like first just scan the QR code on the bottom of the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee, and not just because I was desperate for caffeine. I genuinely liked the flavours and it was smooth, as a latte should be. Best parking is located on Dunkerron Avenue. There are two toilets for customers located near the back. There’s also a lovely area with extra seating away from the hustle and bustle. Server shoutout: Shannon. She was so kid and made us feel welcome the entire time. Would I recommend it? Yes! Food: 10/10 Coffee: 10/10 Atmosphere and Service: 9/10
Thoroughly enjoyed everything about Hello Friends and Allies. The staff and service is always great when we dine in or take out. Amy and Kevin always make you feel welcomed and inviting into their cafe. I highly recommend the cafe for friends and family for a good get together and it is also pet friendly which was a bonus for pet lovers. Also a great place to have that meeting or two with the great coffees and cake option. The staff is always friendly and the food is always well served and prepared. Vegetarian options: You can request different options of vegetarian food. Kid-friendliness: A great area at the back of the cafe with books and toys for the kids to enjoy while having your food. Parking: There is always parking available at the back and accessible. Entryway to the cafe from the back door and front.
Food is quite pricey. It would be good if they were more transparent with their pricing for the cabinet food - there's no pricing on display. Update: found something suspicious in the rocky road slice that looked like a rats tooth ...@-@ they were very apologetic.
