When I come through from Hamilton for work I always come back to a place I spent my childhood. I always go to the Hong Kong Bakery. I hold a special bind with this beautiful place.
Lovely little village in Māngere Bridge with barbers, hairdressers, nail and beauty salon, post shop, takeaways, cafes, restaurants, bakery, butchery, supermarket, dairy, florists, dollar stores and vape shops.
Love mii village, always vibrant n colourful people from all cultures .variety of food shops, cafes, eateries to choose from, local supermarket, niknak shops
I live here, the food outlets are great, the newly revamped bridge is great, Mangere Bridge is just....great.
Disappointed I couldnt find the butcher that had the meanest pork bone, fish in chip shop closed till 12pm, left feeling flat. Heading north empty handed.

Love it, Sunday market is quite small but the food that is available is top notch. Lots of cafes of which I have tried most of them and they are all worth a try.
A peaceful place to visit. Love Burgers and Green.
Great lil township the Thai restaurant sells the best bubble tea around & yummy food theres also tables&chairs outside to eat outside under shade & all the other cafes have outside eating arrangements.There is a variety of food places to choose from;kebabs&burgers,Roast Shop,chinese,Fish'n Chips,Curry shop-Butter chicken, Florist who has gorgeous window displays.Two Dollar& more shops,Hairdressers,Nail manicure/pedi, Barbers,Pharmacy,Hammer Hardware,Bakery&Cafe,Real Estate agents,the famous HongKong Bakery who make divine cream buns,pork buns,steak'n mushroom&pork'n taro pies, my fav is the good old mince pie as all their pies use real meat&mince coconut rolls,banana rolls & apple strudel. Well worth a browse around The Village i promise theres something for everyone!!!!!
1970, I crashed. I was running from my brother, across the road, busy then, the Main Road straight into a car, right-side flip over the top, then get up a ran. A very nice young man, the driver. But I didn't knew again within I went to Hospital Middlemore it was on Hellfire day. A lot fire works were accidentally exploded.
