What a wonderful gem to have in the city! We loved our visit to the hot pools. The temperature was great in the active & family pool for our two little boys. The view from the hot pool was gorgeous - you really can't beat the ocean. The breeze was just perfect with the warmth of the sun. The facility was clean and I thought the women's change room was quite lovely. The music was so relaxing - I wish I could've stayed longer! Also, the attached café was a great place to refuel after our visit and the kids LOVED the nearby splash pad and playground.
Really cool view, very clean and quite. Price is reasonable. Had a really nice time with my family. The cold pool is really cool. Highly recommend for everyone.
I've been to these pools 3 times now. Enjoy them and they're affordable. Really clean changing area, not overcrowded, I hope this doesn't change when we return to life as normal after covid. I would like to see the sauna temperature increased, and a thermometer in there, it's a large area with a lot of people coming in and out, heat loss is constant. It's not very hot as far as dry saunas go. The plunge pool temperature could be regulated and kept at a consistent temperature. These pools are definitely worth a visit.
It is quite nice and clean. Price is reasonable. It is amazing to see the sea from the pool. Very enjoyable place for family. Highly recommend for everyone.
Beautiful experience at the Hot pools! Everything was clean and the staff were lovely. The views from one of the pools facing the beach was great as well. It does get crowded so you might have to be quick to get a good spot at the pool with a view. The sauna and steam room are also very well maintained. Well worth the price of admission and a very relaxing experience after a hard week :-
So impressed, checking in for your visit is so organized and easy. Changing room and toilet facilities are trendy, clean and make you feel like your in a day spa. They seem to be very health and well-being centered but there were lots of kids and families enjoying themselves which was nice to see.
Such a beautiful and thoughtful space created by Christchurch city council. It was our last day in Christchurch so we went to check out the salted hot pools. Fantastic and relaxing way to end the holidays. The facility is well looked after and very clean. There are allocated timed sessions during the day and bookings are essential as they cap the number of people at any given time to avoid crowding at reception and in the facility. The pools are heated at different temperatures. There are 3 pools for families and one with an amazing view of the seaside for adults. There's also a plunge pool plus a steam and sauna. The changing rooms are well heated with hair dryers provided and the floors even have underfloor heating. We loved the additional family changing rooms, also well heated with underfloor heating outside the main changing and shower area the most because we could shower the kids in the one space and get them all ready including ourselves before and after getting into the pools. Would love to be back the next time we visit Christchurch.
Was perfect..wish the pool over looking the sea can be less obstructed in places. But understand its a process and it will all get worked out. The temperatures are wonderful. Your staff are all so nice, and welcoming, extremely helpful to advice the right pool for my needs, thank you so very much to your team. Who are always there to help. You should be proud of them.
This is a hard name to remember…..but if you google new Brighton hot pools it is linked. Amazing afternoon in awesome pools. Staff are great. View is the best from the pools. Clean and tidy. Better than I could imagine. It’s so great, not crowded at all. Relaxing I highly recommend a visit. We will be back.
Great online booking system and friendly staff. Pools are nice and relaxing. Unfortunately the family change room doorways are far too narrow and cannot fit a pram in them so can't access the baby change tables. There were three other families with prams there at the same time who couldn't use them either. Also the accessible change rooms are hard for wheelchairs to get to if you don't have someone to open doors for you.
