Ask alot of questions. Especially about the product you're potentially buying. And ask about what will happen with the delivery of the item/s. If applicable? Because you'll need to follow up on this. Staff members do not like for customers to take their time, browsing around the store. So be prepared to let more than two staff members know you're taking your time looking around you'll let an employee know when you've found something interesting. I was visiting to purchase whiteware and I had to take care of delivery issues, due to bad communication between a staff member and the delivery men. It's a great product, but it was a mission to sort out the delivery of the item. It's a tidy store with lots of products crammed into a small space.
Was told the high cost of delivery for the new bed was because it is a 'premium ' service which included setting up the bed and removing the packaging.nDon't be fooled by these lies as base and mattress arrived , was left to set up bed and dispose of packaging myself.nNow the guy in bedding department won't return messages, very poor service !!
I was recently at Harvey Normans Porirua. Parvinder was my literal ‘personal shopper’. Such a genuine and informative sales approach that I appreciated and needed on this occasion. I came out with a great new phone and modem and a super deal too. It was a really fun experience because Parvinder and I got on well and had great natural banter throughout the sale. It certainly didn’t feel like I was there for over two hours! He also enlarged a photo at no cost the reason I had gone there in the first place! - so impressed. Thanks Parvinder!!
Disappoining customer sevice.nIve just been in the photo printing section of the Porirua store, where I helped a delightful 80 year old lady print a small number of photos from her recent birthday. The lady was having some issues making her order. She asked a staff member for help. The staff member made a dismissive comment, ignored the ladys request for help and walked away.
It is a very nice and big store, it is possible to find furniture, beds and other necessities for every need, the employees are extremely interested. Even the store manager is chatting with everyone and trying to help, thank you very much to everyone.
