This used to be my favorite shop for all the latest gadgets and quality household goods, I understood you paid a premium for good service and long term finance but it's changed. I now get the vibe that unless they can fleece you for every dollar then they don't even want the sale. At numerous times in the recent months I have been told that the discount I'm trying to use is not valid for the purchase it was and another instance where the product is not covered by their finance it was. Almost felt l like I was on candid camera when the store manager got stroppy with me because she couldn't read their own terms and conditions on their own signage. If I hadn't stood my ground on both occasions I would have been ripped off. To top these experiences off they managed to double charge me on the finance nearly $1000 and then when prompted to resolve the issue they managed to refund it all minus $50 which prompted another painful round of calling both the finance company and the branch to get it sorted. So yeah, not sure what the premium costs are for anymore and I don't think it's worth the hassle shopping here anymore. Also can't leave this one out, ordered online once, got shipped from Blenheim, had issue with product and was promptly told I need to take it back to the original store? Yeah sure I'll just pop up to Blenheim

Very impressed with their on line shopping service. Goods are posted same day and arrive within a couple of days. Just be aware though, that even if returning an item to the same store for genuine reasons and within the specified time, your refund has to go through head office and will take several days. This in spite of the fact that the item pops up in your visa account no more than 5 minutes after pressing the “buy” button. I can see no reason why, if the purchaser presents their Visa card when returning the item to the same shop, the same ‘instant’ principle doesn’t apply.

We went to Harvey Norman to buy a tablet as they had the one we wanted on special and at a really good price too. Despite the salespeople being very busy, we weren't ignored. All our questions were answered and overall we had a fantastic experience and we're very happy with the tablet too .

The staff are awsome to deal with and the prices are really good. We ordered a sofa which was made and delivered within 3 weeks. We also got a chiropractor mattress, that was the worst decision ever, back pain is worse with new mattress than it was the old one.

Staff member was helpful and had a great sense of humour. Discounted the item I was looking for to match a competitors price. Top marks.

Our bed buying mission was made a pleasure by Bryan and his ever helpful team. We finished up with a complete set up, electric blanket, duvet and mattress and base. Went to buy a new vacuum. I had done my research and narrowed it down to 2 different ones. walked in, someone helped me straight away and explained the pros and cons of both models, didnt push one over the other. Was very helpful and knowledgeable so.made my decision easy for me. In and out quick smart. And carried it to my car for me.

I went to this store with a problem with my laptop. A nice young man came to the counter to help me but a rotund staff member kept interrupting. When the technician came to help, same thing. I got the feeling I was not wanted in the store. That's fine I will shop elsewhere.
