We had a lovley stay, the owners welcomed is warmly and it was the perfect place to have 2 days of rest after much hiking and traveling. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic tiny house with a great breakfast and atmosphere. It's perched high on a hill overlooking the strait. Check-in is via a key box. Just follow the instructions you receive by email/booking site and everything will be fine. Everything will be ready when you arrive, including breakfast for the next morning. The food is of very good quality and mostly homemade, even if it's prepared by the neighbor. It's admittedly quite small, but everything you need is there: tea or Nespresso, a shower with a hairdryer, and air conditioning for both cooling and heating. There's even a hot tub. Dunedin is a 20-minute drive away, and Port Chambers is 5 minutes away.
If you're in the area, this is an absolute must... great hosts...
